Just launched last week, the Government’s new England Trees Action Plan, if implemented, will change the way state investment in trees, woodland and land management works. It will take a while to see how this shakes down – in particular with regard to the Woodland Creation Offer that is supposed to be ruled out this spring (that gives them four days…). There may be interesting potential support for community projects, especially those in urban or semi-urban areas. Watch this space…
