Whilst dodging the showers, Year 6 came together to collect and plant tree seeds/nuts collected from Ashley grounds. The project was part of their learning focus this term of ‘Evolution and Inheritance’.
Identification, reproduction and sowing methods were discussed before they set off in small groups with their task of planting them. There was lots of information shared during the afternoon, with the underlying message of helping to ensure their continued place in our world.
